How to Measure Your Lampshade?

All of our lampshades are manufactured in-house which enables us prompt delivery to our valued customers.

How To Measure Your Round Lamp Shade

When measuring the dimensions of a lampshade, a yardstick or tape measure should be used. Round Lampshades should be measured first the top diameter then bottom diameter and thereafter the slant height. Remember always to measure the diameter and not the circumference. (As shown on the photos at the side.)

Once you have done measuring the top, bottom and side, turn upside down the lampshade and take the measurement of the shade holder’s drop. (As shown on the photos at the side.) This measurement is very important to provide the accurate size; it enables the lamp shade to fit properly on the lamp.

Next, provide the fitter type that you prefer to manufacture your lampshades with. (As shown on the photos below.)

Lastly, if your fitter is a Uno or Euro Fitter than provide the measurement of the Inside Diameter. When measuring the Inside Diameter, make sure to measure the width of the Hole.

How To Measure Your Rectangle Lamp Shade

When measuring the dimensions of a lampshade, a yardstick or tape measure should be used. Rectangle Lampshades should be measured first the top width by the top length, then the bottom width by the bottom length and thereafter the height. (As shown on the photos at the side.)

Once you have done measuring the top, bottom and side, turn upside down the lampshade and take the measurement of the shade holder’s drop. (As shown on the photos at the side.) This measurement is very important to provide the accurate size; it enables the lamp shade to fit properly on the lamp.

Thereafter, determine if your lampshade appears to be a Standard Rectangle or Radius Rectangle shape. Next, provide the fitter type that you prefer to manufacture your lampshades with. (As shown on the photos below.)

Lastly, if your fitter is a Uno or Euro Fitter than provide the measurement of the Inside Diameter. When measuring the Inside Diameter, make sure to measure the width of the Hole.

How To Measure Your Square Lamp Shade

Next, determine if your lampshade appears to be a Foot Ball or Race Track shape. (As shown on the photos below.) Thereafter, provide the fitter type that you prefer to manufacture your lampshades with. (As show on the photos below.)

Lastly, if your fitter is a Uno or Euro Fitter than provide the measurement of the Inside Diameter. When measuring the Inside Diameter, make sure to measure the width of the Hole.
